Suggest Remedy For Persistent Cough With History Of Asthma

I have a deep persistent cough. I had a prescription for bensonatate, but when I renewed it the price went from $5 to $45. What causes the cough? I have asthma. any good alternatives to benzonatate that don t condstipate me like all OTC cough medicines.

Benzonatate is a non-narcotic cough medicine that acts by numbing the stretch receptors of nerves located in you lungs.You can take Tessalon Perles 100 mg thrice a day for your cough & you will not get constipation or other side effects like otc cough medication.
