Hello I had gone through your question diligently and I can understand your concern very well.
I see patients with similar complaints in my clinic and I will definitely help you as well in best possible way
Looking at your description I would advise you for a battery of tests like blood for CBC ESR and sputum test as well as an Chest X ray to find out the underlying cause for persistent cough. Meanwhile continue taking pantoprazole and claritin as your doctor advised.
In addition to that I would advise you for steam inhalation and gargling with warm.saline water or antiseptic mouth wash. you should take multivitamin especially vitamin C. You should also take cough syrup or honey with few drops of ginger juices as a home remedy.
Thanks for your question Please feel free to ask for follow up questions or you have any further queries, I will be happy to help you wishing you good health Regards
