General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
It seems he is getting better with the medication you are giving. It should completely resolve in 5 days.Apart from this -
- Is he breast fed ? if so continue with braest feeding/ if not, make the feeds dilute . Continue with ORS.
- You can add Calcaria phos 200x & ferrum phos 200X .. in powder form (mixed n equal proportion )& give him 2 pinches ( take it with a spoon .. do not touch ) each time ( Powder as such/ mixed with boiled water ). To be repeated 2 hourly till the loose motions stop . To be continue i dose twice a day till teething continues.
- In case the color of stool is greenish/ there is mucus in stools / there is no relief in 5 days/ there are signs of dehydration( dry mouth, sunken anterior frontanale)-- take him to ER/ children specialist for antibacterial & IV fluids.advise
Thanks.
