Suggest Remedy For Persistent Elbow Pain

My husband thinks he has pain in his elbow and thinks it is connected to the ulner nerve. He is using ice packs and a support for relief and resting it when not playing golf. Is there anything else he can do to repair any damage that has occurred to the nerve?

Hi;

First of all, if his pain also radiates through his 4th and 5th fingers, he deserves to be appreciated for his diagnostic skills :) He must stop using his hand for activities requiring intense effort. I doubt that there is a nerve damage; I rather think an ulnar trapment. Non-steroid anti-inflammatory medication (both oral and topical) along with extremity elevation-rest will reduce symptoms. If symptoms persist, I advice counseling with an orthopedist.

May you recover soon
