Suggest Remedy For Persistent Headache

Sir i suffering from headache since my childhood.severe pain if drug not taken . I talked to many doctors about my problem. They asked me for eye check up and MRI but but all goes waste ,tgey couldn t find anything.About my headache:-Aggrevates due to sunlight,smoke,foul smell,heavy sound,earphones,empty stomach inadequate sleep.Relieved by rest and drug(Naprosyn 250 mg)Please tell me something about my headache,how it can be cured.Thanku Ankit choudhary Student 22yrs

Hello!

I have gone through your question carefully and understand your concern.

In my opinion all the symptoms you describe are related to migraine. It is common for migraine to start in childhood. It is also a type of headache which is relieved by rest and aggravated by sleep deprivation, the sun and noise.

I would recommend to start treatment with Amytriptiline or Topiramate to help in the prevention of headache episodes. Amytriptiline is an antidepressant and Topiramate is an antiepileptic drug. They should be given under doctor prescription.
