Suggest Remedy For Persistent Itching

Labor Day weekend my daughter had an outbreak of bites with whiteheads on them primarily on one leg. She was treated with a steroid shot and permethrin cream. The ARNP called them itch mites. They were better in about 3 days. Monday, the same type of outbreak happened on the opposite leg. The pediatrician started her on steroid pills orally and prescribed a steroid cream. This episode does not seem to be healing as quickly. The pediatrician said it is not itch mites but chigger bites. I don t see how that could be with the pattern of occurrences. She is very uncomfortable with the itching. Also soaking in bleach water. What is this?
