Suggest Remedy For Persistent Sore Throat

I ve had a sore throat since early June. I went to the doctor and they gave me a prescription nasal spray and said they thought it was allergy related. Now my throat is swelling shut, and I have white spots on my swollen tonsils. I ve had fevers on and off for the past few days and my body hurts. What could this be?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.

I am Dr. Shama and I will be answering your question.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
The presence of persistent or recurrent sore throat with swollen tonsils indicate recurrent infections. This requires treatment by the use of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs.
If the condition persists you need to consult your doctor for surgery.
Hence you need to consult your doctor for examination and treatment.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
