Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your husband have symptoms of persistent tinnitus with hearing impairment which occurs due to many causes like stress, cervical spondylosis, ear wax accumulation, age-related hearing loss, ear injury or a circulatory system disorder.. Need not to panic about it. I would suggest you to take tablet neurobion forte once daily. You should take a course of oral steroids. You should not prick it with any sharp object.Consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe tricyclic antidepressants , alprazolam and devices like hearing aids and masking devices. Doctor may order certain test like audiometry. CT scan ,MRI can also be done to rule out conditions like hearing loss , exposure to loud noises , earwax buildup , middle ear infection. Keep your ear drops along with you.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
