Suggest Remedy For Pimples Around The Nipple Region In Males

I have two pierced nipples, and I m a male. My right nipple is perky, a little engorged cause of the ring being on the areola area of my skin, and it s been that way since last year when it got pierced. Until a month ago I never had a pimple in my entire lifeon my nipple. The pimple is close to one of the hole ends of my piercing. I picked it a while ago, tried treating it, and it hasn t closed up yet even though the hole continues to slowly get smaller. Why hasn t it completely healed , andhow do I treat it?

Hi. Welcome to HCM
It seems the pierce wound has not healed and has gotten infected. Do not pick on it . Also i hope you are not allergic to the material of the ring.
Clean it with mild antiseptic soap and plain water if there is any pus or dried discharge.
Apply an antiseptic cream like fusidic acid twice a day and leave it open to dry. Since its long-standing you can take a course of antibiotics as well.
It should heal, but don't peel off the skin forming on it.
If it still persists consult the doctor and maybe consider removing and replacing the ring if advised.
Hope this helps.
