Suggest Remedy For Pimples In Pubic Area

Hi, I have pimples on my mons pubis... They developed after having a fungal infection in the same area. I was treated with a topical antifungal and I also had to take antibiotics for a sinus/ear infection. When I noticed it clearing up I decided to shave the area... I think shaving it caused this whole mess, but I ve been battling them for about a week and a half and it s time for some solutions.- thanks!

Hi,

The pimple like lesions on pubic area may be folliculitis. As you said antibiotic taken for ear infection also improved the lesions on pubic area. This also indicates that the lesions on pubic area would be folliculitis. Still, you consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. You may take antibiotic like cefixime 200 mg twice a day for two weeks along with nimesulide 200 mg twice day. Apply antibiotic cream like nadifloxacin cream on the lesions. Avoid soap bath. You take Sitz bath in dettol liquid containing water in tub. You may be benefitted in few weeks. I hope you got my answer.
