Hello,
You are suffering from
premature ejaculation. You are married since a year. You are suggested to spend quality time with your partner so that both of you get physically and emotionally connected. Try to get more intimate with each other. Get connected to a
urologist, get clinically examined and get treated at the earliest. You will be counselled in detail on behavioral techniques,
pelvic floor exercises, pause-squeeze technique and use of topical anesthetics and medications.
Behavioral treatment is very effective. Combination of behavior treatment plus drug therapy is the most effective course. You are encouraged to use condoms as it may decrease penis sensitivity, which can help delay ejaculation. You can use "Climax control" (trojan extended, durex intense, etc.) condoms that contain numbing agents such as
benzocaine or
lidocaine or are made of thicker latex to delay ejaculation. Anesthetic creams and sprays that contain a numbing agent, such as benzocaine, lidocaine effectively treat premature ejaculation.
These products are applied to the penis 10 to 15 minutes before sex to reduce sensation and help delay ejaculation. Stay away from addictions (
smoking, alcohol, drugs, etc.) as they may trigger the symptoms of premature ejaculation. Take protein rich balanced diet. Prefer home made nutritious food over outdoor food. If
obese, loose weight. Do regular walking (morning & evening).
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
