Suggest Remedy For Pressure And Green Liquid Oozing From Left Ear

Hi there! I have a problem with my left ear! It started maybe 3 weeks ago and got worst around 1 week ago. The symptoms are pressure inside the ear, it feels like there would be water in. Two days ago I could feel that it was even on the backside of the ear (where it ends) swollen and it was hurting. I treated my ear for 3 days with ear wax remover and it got a bit better. I stoped two days ago with that and last night there was a green liquid coming out (I think this was a mix of the wax remover and something from inside the ear) I still hear a tone inside and can´t hear propper.

Hi,

From the description that you have provided, it looks like ear infection. The greenish liquid coming out can be infectious fluid or pus. Reduced hearing, pressure can be due to blockage in the ear canal due to inflammation and pus. Hence, home treatment is not recommended and you need to visit an ENT physician.

You should get a clinical check of your ear done. If infection is ruled out you will be advised oral antibiotics and ear drops. Also, in some cases the pus has to be drained out by the doctor. Avoid putting anything inside the ear on your own. Also, avoid too much water exposure like swimming etc., if you do.
