I am 40.4 days pregnant with baby girl. My midwife is not much good. I have not had an internal since I was about 36 weeks! I dont know if I am dilating/ effacing or not.I have been having ALL prelabour symptoms for 6 weeks e.g. mucous plug, nesting, tiredness, loose stools, braxton hicks, lightning, and false labour contrax- really close to labour, but they dont continue for more than a few hours. I have had 3 bouts of period pain, pelvic pain (psd) and back pain. These bouts do resemble early labour. Is my body struggling somehow to go into full blown labour? Baby has been quieter over the last 2 days but she seems active enough.
