I'm 32 weeks pregnant ive delievered all 5 of my other children at or before 37 weeks . I'm getting frequent contractions but my doctor is ignoring me an putting me on meds I've been allergic to.. should I be more forceful or just go to the hospital? My contraction have been going since 23 weeks
Hello, Welcome to HCM and thanks for asking your question. I can understand your concern very well. I would like to tell you that these kind of contractions are very common and its absolutely normal in pregnancy and they are painless braxton-hicks contractions. You should not be worried much about it unless it comes with pain or vaginal discharge. One should not require any medications for this, so i want to know from your side about which kind of medicines your doctor had prescribed to you. So be relaxed and don't go to hospital for any urgency. Wait for normal labor pain and contractions to begin. Hope this answers your question and let me know directly if you are having any further relevant queries, i will be happy to guide you in proper direction.
