Suggest Remedy For Problem In Right Leg

My brother has a problem with his right leg. He's been to the doctor and to emergency and even admitted to the hospital for a few days. He still haven't gotten a real answer, except that it can't be cured. He'll have to live with for the rest of his life. His legs swells from his knee down to his foot. The only thing they have given him is wraps to keep his leg wrapped up and take ibupropen. I can't remember what he said it was, but it should be something they can do to help him better. DB.
