I was diagnosed with severe ascites on my unborn fetus at 16weeks in both the abdomen and chest and was told to expect the fetal heartbeat to stop, i am now 24 weeks with the ascities having spontaneously resolved and feel like i ve just been dumped in the desert as noone has discussed possible birth defects or problems resulting from this and i m reading storys on the net and scaring myself stupid, please help
