Suggest Remedy For Prolonged Mucus In Stools With Gastric Problem
Sir , i have mucus in stool for since 3 years.. 8 months back i consult GE doctor.. he advised to take blood count test , stool test (occult blood test , cysts and ova test) , us abdomen test.. no abnormality was found.. i have gastric problem.. i used many anti biotic capsules but mucus in stool was not controlled.. after using medicines some improvment is there.. but not totally cured.. mucus is visible in 3 to 4 times in a week.. doctor says nothing to be worried about this.. but i have small tention.. pls tell me the reason sir..
As per my surgical experience, a long standing issue with mucus in stools indicates most likely malabsorption disorder with or without inflammatory bowel disease. As there is mention that your lab data with ultrasound is normal, but the main concern is that of endoscopy and colonoscopy findings with biopsy of small intestine.
