Suggest Remedy For Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding After Missing Birth Control Pills

Hi so I ve been taking birth control for 2 years now and I ve been on Vestura for 4 months now however last month I went on a weekend trip and forgot to pack it, I ended up skipping 2 pills. I got my period after a couple of days but now it wont leave, I ve had it for 4 1/2 weeks now! What can I take to stop my period/ what should I do??

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Your doctor can give you medication to stop the period eg primolut.

This is a hormone tablet that can be used for this purpose.

If your next period is also prolonged, then your doctor would need to investigate the determine the cause.
This would involve imaging such as ultrasound and possibly blood tests as well for hormone levels (Eg FSH, LH)
