Suggest Remedy For Psoriasis On Buttock And Anus Area

Hi there,I have been living with psoriasis since I was about 8. I underwent UV light treatment, and it cleared up for almost 10 years (except little patches here and there). I have always had it on my scalp, but recently I have noticed a patch at the top of my buttocks fold. It has since spread down the fold and around the anus. Very embarrasing, but I am wondering what kinds of treatment or prescription I should seek out to rid this, as it is uncomfortable, and visually horrible. Thanks!

hi, welcome to HCM,
psoriasis need long term followup to keep the disease in control.
tab methotrxate is quite effective. i always use to prescribe this in proliferative disease. but this needs prior liver function test and dose titration.
apply emollient containing urea+lactic acid.
apply clobetasol oint twice daily.
avoid scratching, as koebnerization leads to flare up of disease at the place of trauma.
