General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

based from your description, it could be an infected sebaceous cyst or an abscess formation from a previous infection. a consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, is best for physical examination and clinical evaluation. diagnostics (such as ultrasound) and medical (proper antibiotic regimen) and surgical (excision and/or incision and drainage) management will be directed accordingly. proper hygiene and daily wound care will also be recommended.

hope this helps.

good day!!
