Hello,

Raised red prickly rashes from ankle to knee is commonly due to contact dermatitis. Other conditions causing similar symptoms are allergy, psoriasis, side effect of certain medications you are taking, dry skin, scabies, etc. You are suggested to take care of your hygiene. Avoid using chemical cosmetics, do not share your toiletries.

You can take non sedating antihistamines, once daily for 3-5 days. Apply a thin layer of hydrocortisone ointment in the affected areas to ease discomfort. It should reduce, if not you are suggested to get clinically examined by a dermatologist, you will have to go through few blood tests, STD tests, skin tests and culture to detect pathology so that treatment can be started at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
