Suggest Remedy For Rapid Heart Beat Due To Slight Stress
Hi! I'm mid 30s, female, 170 cm tall, thin build, 50 kg. I'm healthy, hardly ever even have a cold or flue. My heart beat started to raise many times a day recently after I got frightened of a man that started to "stalk" me from a distance. The situation is dealt with and I don't think about it any more. But still the hear beat raises as soon as I get slightly stressed, worried or even talk about stressful situations. Any suggestions on what to do?
I understand your concern and would explain that some tachycardia or skipped heartbeats are quite normal during physical activity or emotional stress.
Coming to this point, I would first recommend performing a routine checkup (a resting ECG, complete blood count, blood electrolytes, thyroid hormone levels).
If these tests result normal, I would recommend trying Yoga ad meditation, in order to help reduce anxiety in a natural way.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
Cardiologist
