Suggest Remedy For Rash On Neck Spreading To Lower Parts Of Body
I have a rash that started Friday night on my neck and upper chest. I have tried Benadryl, which has not seemed to help. It has progressively gotten worse each day and today (day 3) it has spread to my face, back, arms, hands, stomach and legs. It is moderatly itchy and warm to the touch. I am not on any medications. I have also not switched detergents/soaps/cosmetics. I did wear new clothes on Thursday, but I have not been in contact with anything new since then.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have rash on neck spreading to lower parts of body. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like viral Infection like chicken pox , shingles , impetigo , psoriasis or side effects of certain medicine . I would suggest you to apply cold compresses to rashes to reduce redness and inflammation , take over the counter antihistamine like benadryl and avoid food like nuts and sea food . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for prper examination . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants along with corticosteroid ointment , anti caterial or anti viral depending upon the diagnosis .
