General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The rectal bleeding, bloating, vomiting (with blood) may be related to chronic liver damage as cirrhosis, ulcer disorders or else. My guidelines at present:
- Intake of anti emetic as ondancetron, PPI as omeprazole on empty stomach with sips of water
- Diet precautions to avoid all spices, non-veg, junk foods
- Control of thyroid, calcium, potassium levels via medications prescribed by your doctor

* Discuss the need of recent lab reports of liver function, SGPT, SGOT, Bilirubin, PT, complete hemogram, stool microscopy for occult blood, ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis, upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy with your doctor during the next follow up scheduled appointment.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
