Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
A few days ago I noticed a pea sized bump on the underside of my penis shaft about mid way up. It didn t hurt at all and looked like a pimple but didn t have a white head. I ve tried to pop it and I did get some blood out of it but now it looks like it is filled with blood and the small open area is sensative to touch. I am not sexually active but I did have something similar a few years back and I believe it may of been an ingrown hair then but I can not remember for sure. How should I treat it and prevent it from happening again once I am able to get it to go away?
Recurrent blister on penis with pus or liquid indicates underlying inflammatory condition. There can be possible issue with: - Sebaceous cyst - Folliculitis - Chlamydia - Herpes - Others
Kindly get a culture swab report of the lesion for bacterial type and sensitivity pattern for curative path.
