Suggest Remedy For Recurring Nightmares

my 6 year old son has nightmares on a regular basis, he wakes up crying and not wanting to go back to sleep again because he is scared of having another nightmare, i just wanted to know if i should seek medical help as it is an occuring thing and the same nightmare everytime. thank you
