Hi,

It is mostly hormonal. If it is not leaving a scar, Clindamycin, Benzaclin can be applied to prevent any secondary infection. It should have good glycemic control. Avoid junk food. Are you taking any meds? If it is oil or oily lotion or cream, avoid that oil as that is the cause in few cases too. Protect yourself from the sun. Avoid irritants. If it still persists, consult a dermatologist and biopsy the lesion.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
