Suggest Remedy For Recurring Purplish Rashes On Inner Thighs
Have a purplish rash on inner thighs, no bumps. I am in meno pause but I do sweat there very often while working out it very bothersome have had it about 3 weeks....I ve tried destine & vitamin E but it gets a little better but comes right back. Can u give me any suggestions ?
Antihistamine preparation like Destine can provide temporary relief from symptoms. However, the underlying causative agent needs to be treated.
The rashes as mentioned in your post can be attributed to contact dermatitis or any fungal infection. Application of ointment like Lobate GM (pharmacologically Clobetasol + Miconazole + Neomycin) will reduce the symptoms. 1. Clobetasol being a steroid will reduce the inflammatory process 2. Miconazole being an anti-fungal agent will take care of any fungus causing the symptoms 3. Neomycin being an anti-bacterial agent will prevent secondary bacterial infections.
In addition, keep the area dry & avoid too much exposure to water or sweat formation.
Wishing you a Good Health. Take care.
