Suggest Remedy For Recurring Throbbing Headache On Left Side

hello. my name it tonya and i have been a piercing headache on my left side off and on since friday. I know I have been under a alot of tension lately but i am now trying hard to relax.n i do have allergies and sinus issues and take allergy meds. ive been taking 200mg ibuprofen, which hasnt worked and this am i took a 500mg ibuprofen which eased the pain but now its 5 hrs later and the little throbbing is coming back. should i call my doctor??

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the over the counter medication is not working for your headaches then you should contact your doctor so that he or she can give you stronger medication to help you.

If you cannot be seen as soon as you would like you can try another pain killer to see if it would work better for you eg naproxen or cataflam.

Stress can cause tension headaches as can sinus problems. You can use decongestants and antihistamines to help with any sinus symptoms.
