Suggest Remedy For Red Itchy Skin Patches On Face And Chest Due To Seborrheic Dermatitis
I have sebhorric dermatitis. and i am having red itchy patches on my scalp, nose, face below eyes and in eye brows, in ears, backk side of ear, and also on chest..what can be the possible medicine for this kind of disease. ia m currently using hivate which takes the itchiness and dryness for some days but still isnt effective?
Hi!! I have gone through your complaints and first of all you should start with an antidandruff shampoo containing ketoconazole and salicylic acid twice weekly. You should also use steroid and antifungal combination on the affected areas like beclomethasone clotrimazole cream which can be later changed to ketoconazole cream for long term control. Another alternative is application of tacrolimus cream on the affected areas. If still the rash continues you should go for oral medication like tablet itraconazole or terbinafine. I hope to have solved your query.
