Suggest Remedy For Red Spots

My daughter has a purple/red spot on her cheek its not a birth mark, and shes been very irritable for the last few days not sleeping and been overall miserable, shes off her food most of the time but still drinking, shes also got the worst nappy rash ive seen. Any ideas? Everyone just keeps telling me its teething. Thanks

Thank you for query.hope child is iinfant.with the description given it may be Atopic dermatitis.Please use very mild soaps or cleansers .apply mosituriser creams to the face liberally.as dryness exacerbates atopy.You can use mild topical steroids like hydrocorticone for severe rash.Do not allow the baby to scratch.consult dermatologist if severe else You can get back directly to me for any clarifications with the photos.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist.
