Suggest Remedy For Reddish Bumps On Shin

Hi! I have been hit by a hockey ball really hard on the shin, a little bit more than 2 weeks ago. The bump is still on my shin- not blue, but slightly red. A big blue spot has just formed about 15 cm down my leg, near the front bend of my foot. Should I see a local doctor or is this normal?
