Suggest Remedy For Red,dry, scaly And Swollen Fingers

Can excema on fingers cause swollen fingers? Thumb, index and middle on both hands get red, dry and scaly. Split open sometimes. My fingers burn like they are on fire at night, I have to get up and run cold water on them. Could this be something else?
