Suggest Remedy For Reoccurring Fever In Pregnancy

hi doc, i m 34 weeks pregnant now ,got high fever and urine infection and my gync prescribe me ampicillin and monocef and dolo650 for fever ,which i took after one week infection and fever reoccur and again after one week it reoccur ,i m nt able to understand why its reoccuring so fast instead of completing the antibiotic course and taking all the precaution for hygeine,i m also detect with icp and my alkaline PO4 is mor thn normal limit i.e 346..please advise what to do

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion if the fever is recurring then a urine culture might be needed to rule out the exact cause of urine infection and its sensitivity to antibiotic.And raised alkaline po4 is normal in pregnancy.If bilirubin ,SGOT and SGPT are normal you need not worry.Take adequate fluids upto 3 litres ,cranberry juice to prevent urinary infections.
