Suggest Remedy For Scars And Spots Along With Acne

Hello doctor I am a 2o yers old girl I am suffering From acne problem for past two three years on top of that I have oily skin. I have been using clean and clear face wash and no other single cream. But now there are still acne but more of scars and spots. Also pits have formed with black heads... md my sikn small holes in al face

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have scars and spots along with acne which occurs because of infection of bacteria when clogged pores gets filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. It is common in your age group due to hormonal changes. I would suggest you to use product containing benzoyl peroxide. You should apply aloe vera gel on scars and apply vitamin E oil on face at night before going to bed. You should apply sun screen Such as TAN CARE rich in SPF 26. Apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day. You should wash your face with mild soap and cold water twice a day , exfoliate your face once a week. If condition doesn't start getting better in a month then consult dermatologist. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course. Drink 8-9 glasses of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet.
