Suggest Remedy For Scrotum Discoloration

I have a strange discolouration on my scrotum and wondering what it is. The affected area is a around 2cm of diameter and is very white in colour, almost like a complete lack of pigmentation. It looks almost like a birthmark as the colour is so different however here is the strange thing, I am 35 and I have never had this mark up until 1 year ago so it is relatively new. There is no itchiness, swelling, redness, or cracking. The skin is otherwise normal. Any idea?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having vitiligo.
My treatment advice is -
1. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesion twice daily.
2. Apply a tacrolimus 0.03 % ointment twice daily on it.
3. Take a vitamin b12 supplement once daily for 3 months.
4. Other treatment options are oral psoralen and phototherapy done by a dermatologist.
