son is 21 years old been working in the hot heat as a cabnet maker for last week its been 96 plus with heat index of over 100 here in southeast Missouri and yesterday said his stomache was hurting in lower adominal regine near the lower intestant area all the way across and tonight about 1145pm he awakes to severe cramps , I gave him the only thing we really had malox --only other thing was pepto and I was figuring the heat and the maybe lack of water might be dehydration so he drank a full 16 once bottle of water with it instead of the 4-8 oz ,, is there anything else I might check or that might help he has eaten nothing out of ordinary same as what the rest of us have

It seems to be very mild heat stroke and Fluid and Electrolytes imbalance due to hot weather and sweating in that working environment.
What he needs is Pedialyte (to replenish the fluids and electrolytes) and some blood work. Hyocyamine by mouth to get relief from abdominal cramps.
Blood work needed:- Comprehensive Metabolic Panel. ( to rule out other causes and to reinforce the diagnosis). Come back with blood work reports in a follow up query. Or consult his physician for the same.
