Suggest Remedy For Severe Body Itching

I am 29 years old at 35 weeks pregnant woman. I have severe itching all over the body for past 2 weeks, particularly scalp, hands, back area, palm, thigh, ankle and feet, which makes me sleepiness and pain at the itching part. Then it become red spots all over the body, now which appears patches on the skin throughout the body. I went to Dermatology consultant, they referred LFT tests. In the test, alkaline phosphate is elevated at 234 range. I have a lot of confusion about it. Pls give me suggestion

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe body itching which is probably due to lowering down your immunity and making you prone for infection. It could be due to allergic reactions and contact dermatitis. Need not to worry. Take hot milk rich in turmeric as it will boost immunity. Take combination of antiviral drug along with anti-inflammatory drug. I would suggest you to apply wet cold sheets on your body to lower down body temperature. and itchiness. Avoid hot, spicy and sharp food substances. Take diet rich in multivitamins and vitamin C. Your symptoms will resolve in 4-5 days. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist/ dermatologist once and get some routine blood investigation and skin patch test done.
