Hello,

You are experiencing severe burning in both of your feet. You are getting severe pain on your right foot so much that its making walking very difficult. Pain is unbearable. You are experiencing symptoms due to stress and strain, fatigue and exhaustion of the muscles due to standing for long periods. Short term effects of standing for long time leads to leg cramps, back pains, knee pain, neck pain. You are suggested to take rest from work for a couple of days (a week).

Give rest to your foot and legs before the symptoms get worse. When you get back to work avoid standing in one position for more than 5-6 minutes. Do stretching exercises, take planned breaks in between work. Choosing the right footwear, it should be able to support your foot and also have shock absorbing cushions. Always stand on rubber mat to cushion your weight. If obese, lose weight. Do figure 8 hip rotation exercise and knee flexion to help prevent both hip tightness and blood stagnation in the lower body by shifting your balance from one side to the other.

Hamstring and calf stretch may also help. However, get clinically examined by a GP / Neurologist, get all Nerve conduction tests and required investigations done, get treated. Neglect may cause long term effects like varicose veins, muscle fatigue, neuropathy, carotid atherosclerosis, etc. Stay away from alcohol and caffeine. Include food that is rich in vitamin B12, you can also take supplements. Take analgesics / NSAIDS to get rid of pain, Combiflam or Naproxen, one stat only when required. Do not get addicted to medicines.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
