Suggest Remedy For Severe Congestion

I have been having bad congestion flare-up problems for more than a year. I can not blow my nose when I try and it is aggravating? Any suggestions or ideas on what this sounds like? Also my mother is having some problems with a swollen and pain in stomach and not having bowels movements for a week. Wondering if you had any ideas on what that may sound like? Thanks.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having chronic rhinitis leading to congestion in nose.
Take decongestant medicine for few days.
Put otrivin nasal drops 2 times a day for few days.
Take vicks vapor inhalation.
If problem not solved then rule out Deviated Nasal septum, consulting ENT surgeon.
Your mother might be having absolute constipation giving this problem.
Give her light laxative daily for few days.
Give her more fiber containing food.
Give her plenty of water.
Ok and take care.
