Suggest Remedy For Severe Cough

hellomy name is kevin I have been to the de serval time in the last two years I have also had a sinius sergury how ever ive usally end up with runny knose and a nagging cough witch goes from lite to almost damaging with vmitting how ever it will sub side when im up right I take robittussion a singular and over the counter zertec however it does nt seem t be workin im also taken antibiotic for ten day

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe cough which seems to be due to chest infection/ chronic upper respiratory tract infection. It could be due to bronchitis/ lung infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take cough expectorants and do warm saline gargles. You should take steam inhalation on daily basis. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get X-ray chest and throat swab test done and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Avoid oily and sharp food. Drink plenty of fluids. You should take antibiotic Amoxicillin in combination with antiallergic medication Sinarest.
