Suggest Remedy For Severe Gas And Spitting Up By An Infant

My 9 week old has been having REALLY bad gas... Passing gas all the time, even while eating. And they stink, bad!! He also is spitting up pretty good amounts after eating and the spit up has recently (within the last week or two) smelt like sour milk, almost like vomit more than spit up. He is a real fussy baby and our Dr says he s colic. I m breastfeeding. We ve tried formulas, goat milk, along with breastfeeding. We ve heard from other friends who have had similar problems that Zantac helps. My Dr wants me to go off dairy products and I just don t think that is an easy thing, as dairy is in EVERYTHING. I m thinking of giving up breastfeeding, but really don t want to. Any advice???
