Im not a doctor but most people tell me it could be fibromylngia some sort of arthiritis or spinal instability and sliped disc all of which are serious and scare me Any help would be appreciated Thank you
I would advise you to get an MRI done for your spine to rule out any spinal problem. Fibromyalgia is a diagnosis of exclusion and you need to rule out other conditions to arrive at that. MRI will rule out disc prolapse or any other issue with the spine.
If your MRI comes normal then you may consider fibromyalgia. I would advise you to visit a psychologist / psychiatrist and seek CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) to get help for the pain you are experiencing. It helps people with such conditions more than medications.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
