Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Foot

my 12 year old daughter hit her foot on an anvil.....she can bear NO weight for almost 2 weeks now and can hardly get a loose sock on.....the doctor we saw took an xray and no fracture showed so he told me she is having psychosomatic pain.....I don t believe this to be true.....should I take her to our local er as she is still in incredible pain and it is not getting any better.....I believe they missed something.....
