General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Peripheral neuropathy is a common side effect of anti-tuberculosis drugs. These drugs can cause deficiency of Vitamin B6, B12 thereby causing neuropathy. Hence, routine supplementation of pyridoxine and Vitamin B12 is essential along with TB drugs. Other causes of neuropathy such as diabetes should also be ruled out.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
