Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Ribcage Due To Bad Cough
I m 50 yr old female COPD had very bad cough my PCP Persctiptions of Antib Cough syrup with codeen I took ALL antibotics now I have cough with Pain in Back of Ribcage that has traveled up to below Right Breast if I take deep breath I almost Cry I m one who doesNOT complain even small short breaths hurt

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you should first get done chest x ray to rule out lung infection.
Because of following reasons I am suspecting this.
1. COPD patients have poor lung defence as their lung immunity is low, so chances of lung infection are high.
2. Chest pain on coughing or breathing can is seen in lung infection.
So get done chest x ray first.
If this is normal than you may have muscular pain. Take simple pain killer and muscle relaxant.
