Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In The Groin Area

my period started last fri 11/12 (right on time) that evening I experienced severe pain in my rt groin area (appendix area) the pain kept waking me during the night. no n/v in am and pain seemed to movee up to my RLQ and has come and gone all week, Once in awhile I do experience some back pain on same side. I have taken Motrin twice and that seemed to relieve it for awhile. Right now I do feel a little nauseous.50 yo female still get my period regularly.
