Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In The Heels

My Mother, aged 62 with a problem on the ball of her heel where it pains is advised of T.Shelcal-CT with a per dosage of 500 mg. I would like to know if this is particularly a health supplement? or is a drug? Also, my mother has borderline cholesterol and is advised to not consume too much of Calcium. Please advise. Hi,
I understand your concern.
- Pain in heal at age of 62 is due to
- Calcium & vitamin D deficiency
- lumber spondylosis.- Needs X ray lumber spine to confirm.
- Yes, calcium is a supplementary nutritional agent.. where deficiency can lead to osteoporosis & pain in heal - where it's given for therapeutic ( medicinal ) use.
High cholesterol is not a contraindication for calcium Actually all elderly ( post menopausal )women need calcium supplement to avoid weakness of bone ( osteoporosis )unless her calcium in blood is above normal.
