General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The solution depends upon the status of pain before the epidural injection. If the severity of pain is bit lesser than that of pre injection status, one can wait for couple of days to a week for resolution of symptoms over a period of time. If the symptoms do remain same in intensity, one has to immediately consult at an ER for possible need of MRI or other relevant investigations to find out best remedy possible.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
