Suggest Remedy For Severe Sore Throat, Pain In Head And Ears Which Are Not Cured By Antibiotics

Hi there,
I've suffered recently for about 5-6 days with a severe sore throat on the left side, haven't been able to eat, had a constant headache since this started and for the past two days I've had bad earache, I've been to the doctors about something similar before and they said it was nothing, so avoided going this time...
I know nose, throat and ears are all linked, but this feels a lot worse than your average flu virus or infection... Painkillers aren't touching the pain either, I'm miserable, bed ridden for five days... Can you help??

Hello,
It seems from the history that you are having sore throat and headache. Since they are not responding to treatment with antibiotics the infection is either not responding to the antibiotic used or it has become chronic.
However symptomatic relief can be obtained by using lozenges, salt water gargling and decongestant drugs.
If the symptoms wont subside then you require to take antibiotics depending on the culture and sensitivity report in consultation with your doctor.
